The crucial element in our Buoycatcher Boat Hook solutions. The exclusive Buoycatcher extending pole is required for all our fittings. Manufactured in black aluminium and with secure locking tabs, our boat hook closes to 1.2m and extends to 3.3m when required.

The long closed-cell foam handle allows for a comfortable two-handed operation. The thick-walled aluminium pole remains rigid even at full extension, unlike many similarly priced poles on the market! The unique locking system comes from the locking system used on various camera tripods and trusted by photographers for many years. It ensures that the pole remains locked in the correct position and won't suddenly go shorter because you inadvertently twisted the pole whilst trying to pick up a mooring.

The Buoycatcher telescopic pole will float in most circumstances, even when fitted with any of the Buoychatcher head attachments. This is due to both the hollow pole as well as the closed-cell foam handle.
